Vulnerability And Resilience To Climate Change In Western Honduras
The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)/African and Latin American Resilience to Climate Change (ARCC) Project conducted the Western Honduras Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment (Western Honduras VA) in 2014 in response to requests from USAID/Honduras. The assessment represents a multidisciplinary effort to assess the impact of climate change1 and variability2 on social and ecological systems in Western Honduras. This assessment focused on Western Honduras’s Dry Corridor (in Spanish, Corredor Seco) region and the six departments receiving Feed the Future (FtF) programming support: Copán, Ocotepeque, Lempira, Santa Barbara, Intibucá, and La Paz.
