Leading transnational crime expert Dr. Louise Shelley, the founder and director of George Mason University's Terrorism, Transnational Crime and Corruption Center, joined the Targeting Natural Resource Corruption project's Liz Hart in May 2019 to discuss the social, economic, and environmental impacts of illicit trade, the insidious nature of "dark commerce," and what strategies the natural resource management community can leverage to prevent corruption in the sector.
