USAID RM Portal Adds New Research and Content Management Services

Functionality Includes:

Importing documents from the USAID DEC to the RM Portal.
The RM Portal allows members to import documents or references to documents with the documents' bibliographic meta information (citations) using xml format.

Importing content from Google Scholar, Science Direct, or other digital databases into the RM Portal The RM Portal allows members to import content or links to content from  digital  databases (public or private), with all of the bibliographic (citation) meta info intact using standard RIS format.

How to Import Content to the RM Portal and Export RM Portal Content using standard Bibliographic Citation Software.

In this section are instructions for importing search results from the USAID DEC (XML format) and importing content found on digital databases such as Science Direct, Science.gov (RIS format). It includes specific tutorials on: how to generate and export XML from the USAID DEC; how to save your DEC search results as XML so you can import results into the RM Portal; how to save  references from scholarly databases as RIS for importing into the RM Portal; how to import your RIS documents into the RM Portal; how to generate and export RIS and XML documents from the RM Portal a variety of tools for using RIS; and a description of the RIS and DEC XML formats.
